He was very confused. I think he actually didn't respond before I followed up in the morning with a text that read "Scratch that. I had the wrong Zoe."
He asked for clarification and we (including, eventually, the real Zoe, who found me on Instagram!) ended up having a good laugh about it.

Lovely sentiment at the beginning, Alicia. I think you should know that while Mark is mostly right as far as men being porcine is concerned, not all of us are. Some of us are attracted to inner beauty, although I have to admit that being droolworthy doesn't hurt. Stop torturing yourself, Alicia. Neither Zoe has anything on you. Men AREN'T all pigs?!?! I am fortunate to have many non-porcine ones in my life, indeed. (And very much wish this one well! Just because things don't work out doesn't mean anyone's necessarily to blame or should be made into bacon. :)
